Privacy-sensitive data or personal data is being processed via the app/website DITBS. DITBS considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us. We process your data on the legal basis of consent.

1.1 Register
For certain access to our app you have to register first. After registration, we save your username that you have chosen and the personal data you provided. We keep this information so you do not have to enter it this every time you want to log in the app. Also, we keep this information so that we can contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement.
We will not provide the data linked to your username to third parties, unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement that you conclude with us or if this is required by law. In case of suspicion of fraud or abuse of our app, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities.
1.2Access portal
With our portal, you can gain access to a management environment where you can set, specify and change things yourself.
1.3Contactform
The data from the contact form will only be used to contact you about requested information.
1.4Location data
When it is necessary for the service, we may collect location data (GPS) from you. 1) to calculate and display distances traveled and scores achieved in the app. 2) To earn points for check-ins at specific locations. This consent can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawing consent affects the use of the app. The backend administrators cannot see where you are or when you are using the GPS.
This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation / map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. We have no influence on this. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements from the relevant provider.
1.5Images (photos and videos)
The app uses photos to provide evidence for the completion of an activity. Permission is requested by the app to allow using your camera and / or film roll. The images are only used as evidence and will be deleted immediately after the end of the challenge. The images are not provided to third parties, used for social media or other marketing purposes.
1.6 Webshop
If you place an order through our web shop, your data will be used to process a (possible) payment, to deliver goods / services to you and to contact you about your order.
1.7 App store
The app that provides the service has been downloaded from a third-party app store. We have no influence on which personal data the provider processes and for what purpose. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements from the relevant provider.
1.8 Publication
First name, surname, (or pseudonym) and total score are published in the app and on a web screen. This data can be viewed by other participants in the challenge. Furthermore, there will be no publication of the personal data provided by you.
1.9 Advertisements
Our app displays generic advertisements, provided this has been discussed with the client, whereby no personal data is collected.
1.10 Provision to third parties
There are three times when your data is provided to third parties.
1. If this is necessary in the context of the performance of the agreement you conclude with us or if this is required by law.
2. In case of suspicion of fraud or abuse of our app, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities.
3. During the challenge, your name (or pseudonym) and total score will be published in the app and on a web screen. (see section 1.8)
1.11 Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are also placed via third parties engaged by us. We do not place any cookies in the app, but possibly third parties.
When you visit our website for the first time, a notice will be displayed in which we explain why we use cookies. We consider your further use of our app as permission for this use of cookies.
With third parties who place cookies we made agreements about the use of cookies and applications. However, we do not have full control over what the providers of these applications themselves do with the cookies when they read them. You are free to disable cookies through your browser. Keep in mind that it is possible that our website will no longer work optimally.
We have not entered into a processor agreement with Google. We also allow Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services, and finally we do not anonymize the IP addresses.
1.12 Security
We take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. You can request our security protocol via info@thehealthchallenge.nl.
1.13Retention periods
The personal data described above will be kept for as long as necessary to participate in DITBS, to process your orders, including warranty. After that, we keep data for a maximum of one year for the statistical purposes described. The data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage (such as the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for payment data).

This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are connected to our app through links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner.
